Cortney L. Smith graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Cortney worked full time as a law enforcement officer in Florida before making the decision to attend law school. Cortney then attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. During her law school career, Ms. Smith was a member of Stetson Law Review and served as a legal intern for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Cortney is experienced in the following areas of litigation: first-party property defense and premise liability.
