Michael became proficient in Mandarin Chinese while living in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 2006-2008. After receiving his juris doctorate from the University of Miami in 2015, Michael subsequently worked on federal FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act) claims in New York City for a firm specializing in representing Chinese wage-earners. After returning to Florida in 2017, Michael worked as a criminal defense associate at a private firm in Fort Myers, FL. There he became known for vigorous motion practice on behalf of clients and their Constitutional rights, effecting dismissal or drastic reduction of felony and misdemeanor charges, often without a hearing. Michael transitioned into civil litigation and joined Reynolds Parrino Shadwick P.A. in 2020.
Michael is experienced in the following areas of litigation: first-party property defense, federal FLSA claims, asset forfeiture, civil traffic defense, and criminal defense.
