Katherine V. Shadwick

Born in Murphy, North Carolina, September 25, 1976; admitted to bar, Florida, 2002; United States District Court, Middle District of Florida 2016; United States District Court, Southern District of Florida 2024.

Education: Florida State University (B.S. Cum Laude 1998), Stetson University College of Law (J.D. 2002).

During her attendance at Stetson University College of Law, Ms. Shadwick participated in mock trial team and clerked with the Public Defender’s Office in the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. After her admission to the Florida Bar, Ms. Shadwick served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Ms. Shadwick became associated with Reynolds & Stowell, P.A. (now Reynolds Parrino Shadwick, P.A.), in 2006. She became partner with the firm March 1, 2014.

Ms. Shadwick is experienced in all aspects of insurance litigation concerning first and third parties claims, including bad faith and coverage disputes, involving automobile policies, homeowner’s policies, and commercial general liability policies. Ms. Shadwick is also experienced in appellate practice and criminal law.
